Mitja’s interests and achievements cover all terrain: mountains, seas, rivers, and slopes. He is a fan of wilderness, secret trails and secluded bays and is the happiest when in the “middle of nowhere”, surrounded by amazing landscape and good people. Good food and unusual local brandies should not miss either, even when far far away from civilization. With a degree in civil engineering and project management he fits perfectly to our team.

He has years of experiences as supervisor on road constructions sites which means that he literally knows every single road and trail, even every hunter`s trails in the area. It is impossible to get lost with him and beside knowing the best viewing points, he also knows where to find the best local food that you would never have found yourself. He has been guiding our tours in Slovenia and beyond for years, but when off season in Europe he heads to guide trekking tours in Patagonia. When not in hiking boots or on skies, exploring the backcountry and searching for powder, he is a real book-worm and enjoys working on his photography projects.
